MAGNETIC PULSE
Where Precision Meets Magnetic Innovation
Vol. 2, Issue 1 | September 2026

Unmatched Precision. Groundbreaking Innovation. Trusted Globally.
What's New at G3 Magnetics
In this issue of Magnetic Pulse, we're sharing where our product line stands heading into the fall. This edition introduces the DTM-351 Series Digital Teslameter, our latest 3-axis field measurement instrument, alongside the HTM-121 Handheld Teslameter first previewed in the last issue. We're also sharing a software update for the DTM-151-S, highlighting our Try-Before-You-Buy Program, and confirming our booth at MMM 2026 in Honolulu this November.
From new hardware to new tools for your workflow, these updates were built to support your research, simplify your measurements, and strengthen the accuracy and confidence you rely on from Group3 instrumentation.
This issue covers the new DTM-351 Series Digital Teslameter, the HTM-121 Handheld Teslameter (recently featured on business.govt.nz), a software and Python library update for the DTM-151-S, our Try-Before-You-Buy Program for evaluating select Teslameters and Probes, and our confirmed booth for MMM 2026 in Honolulu, Hawaii (Booth 13, November 2–6).
Try-Before-You-Buy Program

As introduced in our last issue, our Try-Before-You-Buy Program lets you evaluate select Group3 Teslameters and Probes directly in your lab or facility, under your real operating conditions, before making a purchase decision.
Here's how it works:
We ship the evaluation unit to you
There is no upfront equipment cost
You only cover shipping
You test it in your actual setup (typically 2–4 weeks)
At the end, you can purchase the unit or return it, no obligation
This gives you the opportunity to:
Confirm accuracy and performance in your application
Compare against existing instruments
Validate integration before procurement approval
Gather real test data to support internal decisions
There's zero financial risk, just real-world validation. If your project is still active, paused, or being reconsidered, this may be the easiest way to move it forward without budget pressure.
If you have any questions or would like to express early interest, you may message ray.reyes@teslameter.com If you want to apply for the program, please click the button below.

Our latest 3-axis field measurement instrument, the DTM-351 Series is available in two configurations. The DTM-351 (with temperature compensation) is accurate to 0.01% of reading + 0.006% of full scale when used with the 3DT-141 Probe; the DTM-350 (without temperature compensation) is accurate to 0.03% of reading + 0.006% of full scale with a 3DT-132 or 3DT-230 probe. Both interface via USB to a Windows 10 or 11 PC and can sit on a benchtop or mount to a 19” standard rack panel.
DTM-351: with temperature compensation, 0.01% of reading + 0.006% of full scale accuracy (3DT-141 probe)
DTM-350: without temperature compensation, 0.03% of reading + 0.006% of full scale accuracy (3DT-132/3DT-230 probe)
USB interface to Windows 10/11, Control VI for PC interfacing included
Benchtop or 19” rack-mountable

The HTM-121 Handheld Teslameter, paired with the HHP-101 Hall Effect Probe, is now shipping. It's calibrated to ±2.2T bipolar with 1.0% basic accuracy, runs at a 60Hz measurement rate, and includes temperature-compensated field readings. The rechargeable NiMH battery gives up to 20 hours of operation, and the probe operates from -5°C to 50°C. It ships with a LabVIEW VI for data logging over USB, and the Teslameter and Probe can be purchased separately and used interchangeably. A premium carry case is available, sold separately.
Accuracy: 1.0% of reading, calibrated up to ±2.2T bipolar
Rechargeable NiMH battery, up to 20 hours
Probe operating range: -5°C to 50°C, 60Hz measurement rate
LabVIEW VI included for USB data logging
Aerospace-grade Aluminum 6061 body, 2m standard cable
As shared last issue, the HTM-121 will soon be available directly on Amazon for faster shipping at the same trusted G3 pricing. Stay tuned for the official launch announcement.
It's also been getting attention outside the lab: the HTM-121 is the instrument featured in business.govt.nz's August 14, 2026 article on product safety obligations. More on that below.

Features include 4-range operation (0.3T to 3.0T), 3Hz data stream, and ± 0.01% accuracy of reading when paired with compatible probes.
Two new tools are now available for DTM-151-S users:
DTM-151-S Control Interface: available to download now
PYTHON LIBRARY for DTM-151-S: NOW AVAILABLE
These additions are designed to make integrating the DTM-151-S into your existing acquisition and data workflows easier, whether you're running the control interface directly or scripting against it in Python.
As Seen On business.govt.nz
The HTM-121 made an appearance outside the lab this quarter. It's the instrument featured in business.gov.nz's August 14, 2026 article on product safety obligations, shown measuring a set of magnetic building tiles. The article, developed with the New Zealand Commerce Commission, covers key product safety obligations for businesses, including guidance on children's toys, children's nightwear, hot water bottles, and high-strength magnets.
It's a fitting spot for the HTM-121 to show up: precise field measurement is exactly what's needed to verify high-strength magnet products meet safety requirements before they reach consumers.
