MPT-231-2S, Hall Effect Probe, 2 meters

The MPT-231 is a high sensitivity, temperature-compensated Hall effect Probe designed to work with a DTM-151 or a DTM-152 Digital Teslameter.

It operates on 4 ranges ; 0.03, 0.06, 0.12 and 0.3 Tesla.

Probe cable can be customize to suit specific applications and can be up to 30 meters long.

Probe orientation is  transverse, reads positive when field vector enters top epoxy surface.

Accuracy at 25°C:

• ±(0.03% of reading +0.006% of full scale) max.

Operating Temperature Range:

• 0 to 50°C operating to spec, -20 to +60°C max.

Temperature Stability:

• Calibration:
  • ±25ppm of reading/°C max.
  • -3ppm/°C of reading per meter of probe cable
• zero drift: 
  • ±(1μT + 0.0003% of full-scale)/°C max.

Probe Head Type:

Encapsulated in White Epoxy Resin

• sensitive area: 1 x 0.5 mm
• unshielded part of cable at probe head: Ø5.0mm,  300 mm nominal length
• shielded cable: Ø 6.5mm
